We make reasonable efforts to protect personally identifiable information that you may submit to the Akorda platform from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. However, it is your responsibility to manage personally identifiable information
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide you services and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may maintain some or all of this data in archive format even after it has been removed from the service.
Our servers are located in the United States or such locations requested by customers. In using the service, data may also be stored locally on the devices you use to access the Services. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Residents of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), Switzerland, and the UK can exercise certain data subject rights available to them under applicable data protection laws. Where such rights apply, we will comply with requests to exercise these rights in accordance with applicable law. Residents of California should consult the California Privacy Rights, below.

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information (as that term is defined in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)) from children under 13. In the event we discover personal information relating to an individual under 13, we will delete the personal information to the extent required by COPPA. We do not knowingly process data of EU residents under the age of 16 without parental consent. If we become aware that we have collected data from an EU resident under the age of 16 without parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides California consumers the right to request to know more details about the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect (including how we use and disclose this information), to delete their personal information, to opt-out of any “sales” that may be occurring, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California consumers may make a request pursuant to their rights under the CCPA by contacting us at email@example.com. We will verify your request using the information associated with your account, including your email address. Government identification may be required. Consumers can also designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on their behalf.
